Dear KMS Parents,
Keene Montessori School parents are vital members of our school community; our school's spirit remains strong through your continued involvement. From your investment in our school, our students' experience is enriched.
As KMS parents, you can show support in a variety of ways including donating supplies to the classroom, participating on committees, assisting in the classrooms, volunteering for events and fundraisers.
Another important way in which parents participate in the school's well-being is to volunteer to sit on the Board of Directors. The Board is the governing body of the Keene Montessori School, and is responsible for setting strategic direction and school policies. It's so gratifying as board members to see the happiness on the children’s and staff’s faces from our involvement in the planning of things like the playground expansion, teacher appreciation and family outing days, in addition to many other activities.
And don't forget, volunteering with our school is also a great way to meet other KMS parents. Many alumni parents fondly remember their time spent helping our school because of the friendships they made and sustained over the years
We encourage you to reach out to us to learn of all the small ways in which you can help our school, keep our programs strong and show your sons and daughters the value and joy of volunteering.
Regards,
The KMS Board of Trustees
